Recycling

Liverpool Skip hire attempt to recycle every bit of waste we pick up. Once your skip or tipper is loaded we ship the container to a waste transfer centre either in Liverpool or the Wirral.

Everything we take to the recycling centre is put on the conveyer belt and sorted into the different materials such as wood, glass, metal, paper and card. The recycling centres then batch up the various materials and distribute them to numerous manufacturing outfits across the UK to be recycled and used to make new products.

We also receive a high volume of building waste materials and gardening waste. As with household waste, Liverpool Skip hire make every effort to recycle as much of this waste as possible. The building waste which can include bricks, plasterboard, concrete and timber again is separated at the recycling centres and where possible reused as building product.

Liverpool Skip hire operate a strict environmental policy and are very keen to recycle as much of the waste we receive as possible. Unfortunately some of the waste is un-recylable, in this case it is sent to a licenced landfill site and disposed of.
